    Nates on Clown Shoes

Sorry if it's out there, but I don't remember seeing any posts comments about the sizing ..

I mounted a 27tpi Nate on a Clown Shoe and came up with:
    4.2" at 15psi
    4.3" at 20psi

Anybody been riding Nates on Clown Shoes?

That combo is goin' on the back of my Moonlander--if I finish it this year. The rims look and feel very high quality and the offset is almost required for the 'lander. The BFLs are nice, but I think I'll use it more for summer season than anything. Glowing reviews of the Nates all around.

Ben, rode one on the rear out in Idaho a few weeks ago. The Nate dug until it found solid-ish ground and then moved forward. Tons of grip and lugs to get moving on soft days. I would likely choose a BFL or HD for crusty rides.

Is that really the only photo you're going to post? We wanna see the tire, not the spokes!

Thanks to Mr. Salach, I'll soon be riding a Nate on my Clownshoe instead of the BFL I currently have. Definitely looking for a little added traction, and don't mind trading off a little bit of rolling efficiency for it. It just gives me a little more of a workout, and gives all the XC skiers where I live a better chance to beat me to the top of the hills.

Moar Pics!!! (Preferably one of the tread area, and one showing how crowned the tire is).
