    Mukluk Crank Options

I've got a 2013 Mukluk 3 that is about due for a new crankset. The stock Snow Isis drive side crank arm came loose mid ride a couple rides ago and now everytime I tighten it back up, it works loose in about 15 minutes of riding. I am a beastly rider that is no stranger to crank problems though. Looking at options, I've narrowed it down to SRAM or Race Face as I'd like to keep the pain below $200.

Anybody running the X5 crankset with a bashgaurd? Would you think the X5 would be stronger than the RF ride crank?

Big fan of Race Face. Have the Turbine on my Pugs and am very happy with it.

Yeah I see you can get the turbine (crank & BB, no rings) for about $200. I'm actually a little concerned that the turbine is too light.

I have been eyeballing the race face crankset for my muk 3 as well. The snow isis on mine has been taking a beating.

I might end up getting the chester crankset. Super burly but a boat anchor (as expected). I like the SRAM GXP BB though but wish there was a good way to run a bash guard.
