I got mine a few weeks ago and it was said to be the last one in the system. I'm assuming that they will be making them on a continuing basis. They will feed the want, a little hyp to boosts sales is not all bad for them.

No, I think they have legitimate supply chain issues...or just no foresight

To give them credit, I think it most be hard to plan for such a niche product.

Someone got a frameset and rims here in the UK via a shop before our complete bikes have arrived that we pre ordered 6 months ago? yet they said priority was to complete pre orders?
As usual our importers here in the UK are way behind, i will not name them, as folk seem to defend them when i last moaned in the past about Pugsley stuff available in the UK,
But once again they prove they are detatched from what people want/need by there slowness to pre order and listen to individual customers instead of what magazines say everyone should be buying, they order every 6 weeks yet were still waiting?,
If i had not paid a deposit i would be going elseware to another BFL wide frame maker that has a frame that takes them, and thats a shame as i know the ML will be good,

I know the ML will be worth the wait but i think it will be the last bike i buy through the UK importer/Distributer, i would rather pay up the extra import duty and get it direct from the US next time and not have this wait...

Happy to give Charlie and his shop the trade though , he is a top bloke

If your reading this Surly, i like your bikes,i really like them, for me they fit, handle and do whats written on the tin, there not too expensive and they have character,
How ever i know of a few people here in the UK who have been put off buying a pugsley (before the complete bikes came here) because of waiting times, and thats a shame they have missed out on some fat fun on one of the best bicycles ever made...

    sorry to moan everyone

Got a Luner Landing film made with just the middle riding bit to make and add so gagging on my ML to arrive now!

Tuesday night was the local (for me) bike club meeting. After business was handled I overheard the local bike shop proprietress remark that she had that very afternoon gotten what may have been the last available fatbike from Surly. And that bike actually came from another state, not Minneapolis. QBP was reduced to "reallocating" bikes?

I imagine folks at QBP are near tears as they struggle to fill orders. I just can't see how other players can't be seeing this take off and are racing to have porduct available in a year or less. Can you imagine someone like Nashbar commisioning a run of Chinese frames, rims and tires?
