    Max tire width?

I have a swagman Xtc 2 hitch rack. I need to modify it so it will hold fat bike size tires.

Do you think a five inches between those bars will be good?

I ordered the BD fat bike with the V-Rubber 26x4.00 tires. I know it reads 4" but, most tires are wider in the center and not where the tire comes in contact with the ground.

I have the same rack and am thinking of getting something welded up to fit my fat bike. I made a template out of wood that is about a millimeter wider than 5" which fits over a Bud/Lou on a Clown Shoe with room to spare.
