Looking to rent a Fatbike in Scotland

My wife and I are visiting Scotland's Isle of Skye later this year and would love to bomb around on a bike with Fat tires. We are addicted to it in the states and think a trip to Scotland touring on a bike would be the perfect way to get close to the scenery. I could bring my own flask mount.

I very much doubt you'll get a fat bike on Skye, I was there last June with my son and we took our own (semi) fat bikes, there's a bike shop in Portree (the islands major town) but their hire bikes were pretty standard fare, if you want fat then take your own ;-)

and just to say that although Skye is a fantastic place and fat bikes are great there, the isle of harris is a fat bike mecca for coastal/beach riding

I am open to open to picking up a bike anywhere in Scotland. We will be in Glasgow and then head out from there. May have to send ours. Thank you.

    Hi
I think it will be easier for you to bring in your own bikes than find any to rent for your holiday,

    Scotland rocks!

I cannot recomend enough enough to drive from Glasgow to Skye up along Loch Lomand and through Glen Coe and up to Skye, one of the best drives in the UK,
Stunning highland scenery, full of history, mysteries, and folklore
here is Glencoe to Skye leaving at sunrise 4am mid summer - hence the car free roads

    The Isle of Skye...

And don`t forget the hardest, longest gnarliest Downhill UCI track on the world cup circuit - with the loudest crowd
If your over on the weekend of 9th/10th of June you got to see this

If you come to Edinburgh and fancy a days beachriding we are 20 minutes drive east down the coast from the city centre in East Lothian (fat bike central in UK )

It all looks great. We were in Skye last March and loved it. Stayed in the coolest place ever and the people were fantastic. Our daughter was in school in Glasgow and she's heading back for grad school. We def need to check out the coast kids area. Looks amazing and I hear there is a better gravitational pull for wheelies!
