Absolutely. You may find that you want a bit lower, more aggressive position for dirt and more upright for snow. Or not. Totally up to you.

ya, I thought a lower position , I could manage weight on the front end/ thus steering may be a bit more responsive, and for the Winter, I could just go back to original, 3 spacers below. be fun to trey it out this weekend, Cuyuna Mine trails,Crosby Minnesota. Thanks Gents.

Cayuna is a good time. Hope the weather co-ops.

The other thing I should have mentioned is that no one can really tell you the right way to set up your cockpit. Many prefer an upright position in the winter as riding on snow is not an aerodynamic endeavor as is riding on the road.

Personally, I like my bar quite a bit lower than as-delivered. I'm using a 90 stem with one 2.5mm spacer. I think I'd like it even lower on dirt. I know others that ride theirs lower still on snow. They seem to be comfortable, so who's to say it's right or wrong?

Thanks. just like running shoes, you use what works for you, no right or wrong in that.
