Ktrak snow kit
Has anyone tried one? Not exactly fat, but snow-related.

Do a search. This question comes up frequently.
There is a few reviews in this thread for example.

This thread is interesting as well
29er vs Ktrak 26er in snow. Fight!

Total junk from everything I've read.
A good concept, but they're really heavy, cheap and apparently there is so much resistance in the system that the whole thing is not practical for riding any length of time.

Thanks. That thread did not come up when I did a seach within the Fat Bikes forum for "ktrak" earlier today (maybe because it's spelled with a space).
Anyway, they sound about like I expected. I wasn't really thinking of buying one, but was curious weather the live up to their somewhat ambiguously-worded claims.
My favorite entry from the FAQ on their website:
Q: Does it work?
A: That's a stupid question! Why did you even look at this one? Of course it works! It works awesome!

Strap that thing to a moped, and look the f#ck out!

Joke. Buy a real bike, not a toy. I know from experience.
