    Iditasport 2014

Great to see the return of this epic event. See Home
for more details. Cool to see a 200 mile and 100K event as it fills a gap in the Alaska scene.

Im really excited to see the race that got me into winter cycling some twenty years ago is back! If not for this race and the invitation it inspired we may not be riding fat today.
Im totally shooting for a personalized ulu.

...I wonder if the 100K ulu is smaller than the 200Mi ulu...

Sounds good DosBugs and LarsD, it will be great to see you at the event. Hopefully we can meet up for some rides in the coming months. 139 training days to go!! That Ulu sure is worth training for...

Sounds great! look forward to having some one to ride with, doing all of my training rides solo gets old.
FrankM what kind of mileage do think you be putting in a week by the end of October?

Hey Bugs- I think by the end of October I aim to put in 6-8 hours per week. I am planning on 10-12 hours per week as my peak in early January. Fully loaded with race gear starts December 1, as I like to dial in the kit through experimentation. That's just me though everybody has different methods.
I do believe local badass, and race director Billy Koitzsch is planning on some sort of informational meetings and Q and A for those that are interested in winter events, these meetings will be a really good resource- I will post them when I hear about them.
