No, he needs to be punished. You are hereby commanded to read all 78 posts on the original thread, all of the comments on the Salsa blog, BikeRumor, etc. Then you will know that FS fatbikes are the greatest thing since the invention of the wheel, or the worst idea ever. I could tell you the answer, but that would ruin the punishment.

    Enjoy!

Hoping someone will pick up the torch and make a wide 29er susp. fork to fit 135mm. Seems like it could be useful to the 29er crowd too. Less dish, better spoke angle. Like I said in the other thread, it doesn't have to be inverted. In fact, traditional would give it more room for clearance at the DT. An existing 29er design widened up (w/ a big round brace of course) would be fine. Would be real cool if it fit 100's too...

I'm pretty sure someone will. Salsa wouldn't be wasting their time on a FS fatty if they had no confidence someone was working on a viable fork for it. Having said that it could still be years out before we see one for sale.

I had a buddy bump into a Salsa dude at a swap meet and he said White Brothers was to busy but they are talking to Marzocchi about it.

Cool... We only need one good fat fork option. They can build one model and leave it alone for a few years so they don't have to spend the $$ on an annual development cycle.

Second comment on the Salsa post. I think we're all jumping on it.

And for that matter, if they make it, I'd love to try jumping with it.
