    Hubs: 177x12 rear & 142x15 front. Alternatives

I'm building a new pair of light-weight wheels for my Salsa Beargrease and I'm having problems finding other hubs than the original ones, which are not the lightest.

Rear: 177x12 32 holes ISO disc
Front: 142x15 32 holes ISO disc

Does anyone know of any alternative hubs I could use?

    Thanks!

I'm wondering the same, but I think you can use Tune Fat King and Fat Kong But I can't find any price on them.
Tune - Leichte Parts für Mountainbike und Rennrad
    Fat Kong - Naben - tune.de

Found them here, but VERY expensive.

Hope Fatsno and Industry Nine will work. Getting Hope parts may be tricky. I am going with I 9 on my Beargrease. Good Luck

Tor, Demondan, thanks for the help!

I did not know about the Tunes. I had a set of wheels with Tune hubs in the past. Despite of what people said, they were ok. In any case, they are EXPENSIVE!

Regarding the HOPE Pro 2 Evo Fatsno Hubs , unless I'm missing something, they are narrower. Front is 135 and rear is 170. Is there any axle adaptor to convert them to 142 and 177 respectively? Are they compatible with thu-axles?

I like the Industry Nines. I might also go for them!

By the way, I was thinking of using titanium spokes on the build. I've had many wheel sets with titanium spokes and I never had any problem with them. Does any one know where to buy Pillar or Marwi?

Yep, I learned on this forum that the new sizes for F and R were avail in the UK.

On a related note, I spoke with Hope USA and they said the new sizes (like the ones you want) are in the US and should be available at shops / online very soon. He also confirmed that all production is rolling to the 40 pt engagement right about now. I just got a 170 mm rear hope hub a couple of days ago, and unfortunately it has the old 24 pt.
