Hauck-Bicycles Hub Spacers Converts 135 to 150mm includes offset disc brake mount

Just came across this, spacers and a disk brake mount offset for Hope Hubs, so you can switch your 135 spaced hub to 150 for a Bluto fork.

I am using their spacers for Hope hubs. The fit is perfect and very easy to setup. Using the Hauck spacers saved me $100's and I can easily go back to the carbon fork if I want to, doubtful though.

Not really the Hauck route but I'm super stoked they are marketing it and it's working for people and it's not just sitting idle. Now if I could only get them to give me a black set.

Edit: Hell I would be happy with a "Hey bOb thanks for giving us the idea"

    Maybe we should...?

Did kind of wonder if there was a connection. Seemed all too obvious.

Now if they can just make some for my two Hope 170 rear wheels so I can run them in all these damned 190 spaced bikes. The list of Bluto-compatible 170 rear spaced frames is pretty short.

Yes working that problem now. Salsa frames, On One frames and the old spacing 907 frames. Anyone can add on to this list I would appreciate it.

I got my spacers, just took a couple days for them to arrive, seemed to be well made, have yet to buy a Bluto though so I have not tried them out yet.

Looks good but a little warning not all calipers have enough adjustment you might have to dremmel the holes on the adapter some.

I should have taken a photo of the brake adapter from another angle, it has a slotted shaped hole for added back and forth adjustment, but thanks for the tip in case there is not enough.

I'd like to see one for a Borealis hub, I'd buy one of those also, this will be for my 29+ wheelset.

Cool they did it for ya!! Oh and it's not hard to take your Borealis adapters into a local machine shop and have some made but in 7.5mm longer.

Yep ^^ I'm currently using 200mm rotors, so either gonna switch to 180 for summer riding with the Bluto, or see if I can add some washers or something to get it to work with my 200.

Does anyone know exactly which hubs these work with?

I believe I want this one in "front disk spacing"

Hope Pro 2 Evo Fatsno Front Fat Bike Hub - 135mm Spacing

And would this be the appropriate salsa hub?

Finally got around to getting a Bluto, the new end caps could not have been easier to install, pull out old ones, put in new ones, took all of 10 seconds. I used 10mm of washers in order to keep using my 200mm Rotor as the brake adapter they provide is for a 180mm rotor. Just got back from a ride and dam the fun level has been turned up to 11!

For sure on the suggestion to get a set of these made for Fatback 135's. Lots of those bikes out there from the past 5 years. If you can get them for the Fatback Hadley hub, I'm all over if.

It's really not rocket science. If you have removable caps just tame them off, take them to a machine shop and tell them to make 2 just like em only 7.5mm longer. I think my set cost me 25 clams.

I saw a losing for a spacer set a while back, but yeah I looked up Hauck a month or so back and found nothing and tried calling the number on the facefvck page to no avail. There is a company making fly fishing reels and such that was associated with Hauck but they parted ways, seemingly on less than good terms. So worst case is a hub and relace is on your horizon.

The last I've heard is that if you contact Borealis, they will set you up with a new hub.

just spoke to them - no dice. full boat on a new hub from them if i want to go that way.

they were hip to the fact that some folks had been machining endcaps, but nothing they have ever carried or could point me to.

    *sigh*

    the search continues.

wouldn't spacing the rotor out in the traditional way make more sense than using an offset brake mount?
