    Goodbye bargain-priced fat tires. :(

I ordered a pair of On One Floaters earlier this summer at about $64 each. I wanted to test them this winter before deciding whether to get another pair.

    Shouldn't have waited...now they're up to $106 a piece.

    Why???

If fatbikes continue to gain popularity you'll see online shops like Jenson carrying tires, etc. Then you'll be able to price match when you see a good deal.

What do you mean? I don't see a big price jump, same as what I paid for earlier this year.

    OK...

I just got them a month ago for $128.74 the pair. I just went to their website and the same price is still listed. ?????

AFAIK they've only had the one version......

I see no price change, either.

And there has only ever been one 120tpi version. Vee Rubber will not do a 27tpi?

Have you set your country and currency properly on the On-One site?

edit: It will apply the VAT if you leave the country as UK

If getting hammered would take care of it, I'd do it in a second!

Currency set to USD, shipping to Canada...just as it was when I ordered the first time.

Still coming up at $106.03 for me...guess I should move to the States for some cheap fat bike tire love.

I just set my currency/shipping location to the same as yours and it shows $64.37 USD. BTW, I'm sitting in Australia doing this. Have you got anything else in the shopping basket?

    That's weird...using your link, I get the $64 I paid before.

Using the link I got from the Planet X newsletter, I get $106.

I was able to use your link and set currency and shipping to both USD / US, and indeed got $106.

    Strange! But confirmed.

Perhaps this should now be a website bug discussion handled privately between you and On One.

Using the two different links I get 59,22 (One-One) and 62,24 (PlanetX) Euro shipping to Germany.. which was not the answer.

    Cheers

Looks like an issue with the currency conversion. The UK price is the same on both pages. Even the straight conversion from to $ including the VAT is only $77.

Definitely a currency conversion issue. Other items are affected similarly when shown in USD.
