    Garmin setup and fatbikes

This has probably been asked before but,

I have a Garmin 705 and I want to mount it to the fatback I have. I have UMA90's with BFL's and I wondered if anyone had found out what would be the correct setting for the wheel size.

    I'm thinking the 29er setting.

Why? You use the gps co-ords....
That's the benefit of a gps....no setting wheel sizes

Good point. apparently leaving the unit on auto sets it up automatically from the GPS co-ords.

    Thanks

Hmm. I'm running completely off GPS, and don't have to worry about changes in rolling circumference with pressure changes. I keep thinking about setting up the frame sensor for cadence, tho. A lot of the riding I do on arroyos/etc tends to be like a roadie ride in the way you apply power - very continuous. Easy to just keep grinding away, forgetting to shift.
Fatbikes are much more fun than they should be allowed to be!
