    Framed Minnesota 2.0 ---> 2018 Trek Farley 7?

    Hi all!

    First post, been lurking for a bit. I bought a Framed Minnesota 2.0 about 6 months ago as my entry into the fat bike world. Wanted something that wouldn't break the bank, been happy with it. I am getting big into trail riding lately and fell in love with the 2018 Trek Farley 7. Red/black wheels and a front shock, cool looking. I ride a lot at chimney rock and feel like a suspension would be nice. Thinking about throwing the Framed up in the classifieds/CL and ordering one of these.

    I have also looked and read a lot about the Surly ICT, I guess I should take one for a ride as well??

    Anyway-just looking for some opinions on upgrading.

    Also-would love to get into some group rides out there. Going to look around and join up.

    Here are a few pics of my bike. Just bought the weehoo for my 2 yr old twin girls, we ride on Columbia Trail in NJ almost every weekend. What a fun time!

    Look at RSD Bikes also...

    You could always buy the RSD frame, then swap your stuff over, then buy yourself a nice fork like the Mastodon. (which is what I did)

    Another option is to keep my framed and get a stache.

    I had that exact same bike and upgraded to the Farley 5. The lighter wheelset alone will make your brain explode! Plus the geo is legit and so much more fun to ride. Go for it!

    Had the same bike and rode it for a year before upgrading to a Growler MBS. The Minn is my son's fatty now after a major upgrade, paint, 1x10, SLX brakes, X5 fat cranks and X7 shifter and mech, Thompson stem and post, Selle Italia saddle, Salsa clamp and RF Turbine bars.

    Check Growler before you buy.

    I just road my 9.6 with 27.5x4.5 in the snow. I had a farley 6 with 26x4 before and you can run pretty low pressure and there is way less self steer with the 27.5 tires. It rolls thru snow with way less effort and rolls fast on packed.

    I love the bb height, no more pedal strikes.

    What size frame is that and can you post a pic of how close the Mastodon comes to the frame?
