fatbike with rabbit hole & 3" knards?

I'm curious about others experiences running rabbit hole, 3" Knard with a normal fat bike frame. How well does the bike handle? How does it compare with the way the bike rides with 4" tires? Photos would be nice to see too.

I used the search box to find the following threads that relate to your question:

    Krampug riders... upon further review?
    SURLY KramPug thread...
    Skinny Pugsley

.... there may be other threads I just spent 30 seconds looking.

Although I have a Pugsley I decided to get a Krampus frame when I wanted to taste the 29+ koolaid.
    Safe riding,

Thanks. I did actually do some searches but didn't catch those threads for some reason. What I did find wasn't very informative so I thought I'd ask. Anyway... this looks like it might be a plan. I've been mulling over getting a 29+ bike since trying one briefly this summer. I read that my Mukluk can fit a 29+ wheel/tire but was curious how that would work in real life experience.

If you have a Muk with the alternator drop outs, it will work great. The 3.0 Knards on Rabbit Hole rims raise the BB to about 13", and although the bike feels very different than with normal fat tires, it is not in a bad way. It rolls like a freight train and is very agile (for the size of the tires), and can be run at pressures in the 10-14 psi range, so it gives a pretty decent ride.

Had a lot of fun riding this through the summer...single speed and geared. Soon to get fat, with winter coming. Can't beat the versatility!
