    Fatbike on a Diet

Enjoyed riding my 9 Zero 7 so much the last 2 winters I decided to continue the fun year round. Purchased Rabbit Hole rims, Hope hubs & 29x3.0 Knards. Plenty of clearance front & rear as shown.

Sweet! How's the ride? What psi were you running?

Keep posting to update the 907 owners. This is a great idea. Give us all the pros and cons. I have 29x2.2s right now for summer. A third set of wheels should push my wife over the edge.

It this a normal 170mm or 135mm frame with sliding drop outs?? This has now got me thinking! 2 set of wheels & 1 bike!

It's the standard 170mm. I figured it was less expensive than buying a new hardtail

I've only had it out a couple times & have been fiddling with the pressure & currently have them at 10 psi which seemed to be the sweet spot. Our local trails are quite rooty so I'm putting a thudbuster on it to soften the ride a bit. I've been riding my full susp Epiphany the last month or so & have been spoiled.

It weighs 31 lbs now and was just shy of 34 lbs with my winter build. A significant amount can be contributed to the Hope Hubs.

Nice!! I've been wondering if the Knard/Rabbit Hole combo would fit! Interestingly enough, the head tube and seat tube angles are very similar to the Krampus. Not sure how the rest of the geometry stacks up. I would like to test ride a Krampus though. I am curious, how much $ did the whole wheelset run?
