    Smile Fat Thursday On One

Yesterday was like the night before Christmas.

Unfortunately, I had to go to work.

30 minutes after my departure the Fed Ex Santa arrived

This morning I took all the parts I had layed on the floor, afer getting home last night, and put this together.

Then took a quick spin around the block on a REAL Fat Bike
I'm glad another shipment finally made it to the United States.

Off tomorrow ... Wanna guess what I'll be doing, while I wait for a Thudbuster, and some decent pedals to arrive ?

    Side Note:
A special Thank You to Michael @ Titusti for so promptly answering my question about the next shipment (he said they had just arrived the day before), and for changing my order, after I realized I had ordered the wrong size (got a reply within minutes of hitting send) ... And also a Thank You to Brant for returning my call (same day as the email change request), confirming that the order had been changed, and advising me that there would be a slight delay in shipment due to them waiting for tires to arrive at their location.

A Top Notch operation, and highly recommended !!!

FYI, for those who might be interested, and might not have seen these - On-One Fat Not Fat Wheelset 29 Inch
Heck of a deal, if you want to get skinny.

I had been thinking about that, but i'm not sure I see the point anymore. I've been Fat all through the Fall and into this Spring, nearly full time. I don't ride my RIP9 much anymore. Why give up all that grip and float for a couple of pounds? I've been doing just fine, even on weekly group rides.

    Now, go enjoy that Fatness!

Well, how does it compare to that giant turd you've been polishing these last few weeks?

On-One Fat Not Fat Wheelset 29 Inch / Black / 32F32R / Shimano/SRAM Unpatriotic, I suppose, and slower, but less $$ and free shipping. Is it worth it just for the hubs?

The US site offers free shipping so the price should be identical as ordering from the UK site (where there is $46.35 in shipping to the US) except that there is no chance of any duty or customs charges if ordered from the US site.

Awesome pick! For the price/value the On-One is the way to go. Love the white/orange look too. Now get it muddy and enjoy!

    Thank D !

Agree on the way to go aspect ... It seemed like forever to wait until another shipment arrived State-side.

But mud ... Arizona desert ... I doubt I'll find any mud unless I turn the hose on or take it to the lake.

Your going to have to do that... make yourself a long mud hole. Lots of fun mashing through mud and trying to stay up and get through it. This comes from a guy in MN with the black soft soil though, not sure what wet dirt in Arizona would be like

When it does rain, it crosses the desert like a small wave of water.
Then puddles into a big mess, that is slicker than snot..
At least, that's how it is in my neck of the woods.

    Sorry,
No pics ... My dad wanted to see the bike, so I took it over there and rode some bikepath trails in Scottsdale.

Guy's pushing 80, and can still kick my a$$ on the pavement.
