    Fat Bike Wheels

New here so forgive me if this is the wrong place to post but I am trying to gain some knowledge on the best place to find a "good" wheelset for my fat build. Not looking for carbon just a lighter set of aluminum drilled with Hope hubs. I like the idea of the 616 "midfat" wheels but they are on back order just like every other set it seems. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Local bike shop and build... or go to AEbike and use their wheelbuilder program... they get them made through Handspun... which is a QBP company. Good stuff. Handspun Custom Wheel Build - AEBike.com

Basically... pick out your front & rear hubs and add to cart... then pick out your rims and add to cart. Then click on the above link and add Qty 2 (2 wheels) and then pick your spokes.

Otherwise you can buy pre-built from Handspun. No hope hubs though... XT or DT Swiss 350's.

Thanks for the info. I'll check into the wheels through them. They were suppose to be doing the entire build but never got back to me with the final quote (last email was a month ago) and the season is getting close. Hopefully just a glitch because I've dealt with them a lot in the past and have always been excellent??

...yeah, where else can you get a set of wheels built by not only a fatbike pioneer, but an inductee of the MTB Hall of Fame?
If Huffy made an airplane, would you fly in it?
