    The Fat Bee's Knees :)

I have just come across this rather unusual Fat bike .

It looks like a collision between Nicolai + Meccano + An old Sintesi DH frame !

Here is an article on the concept !

Looks like a honeycomb :-) . Tho I know butt welds are strong, the junction of the top tube (?) To the head tube(?) Doesn't look like there is much side torque reinforcement. But that may be a non issue . otherwise, it looks very cool.

It's like an erector set, way cool.
Not sure it would ever catch on as a mainstream bike, but I can see it's value as a concept/sizing platform that a small/mid-size builder may use to help dial fit for clients. Let them test ride a geometry before final build with traditional materials.

Yes, that is way cool, I think most of us could not afford it even if you wanted one. A lot of engineering went into that.

    I'd estimate about 35.

Looks cool, but I would fear cutting my shorts or leg in a crash.

I would end up paying someone to clean it for me.

Wild design, but yeah, definitely not something I'd ride. I also have my doubts about the weld at the head tube. But especially, I have my doubts about the long-term durability of all the bolt-together joints. How long before stuff starts rounding out and develops play? I could see an old, well-ridden one of these being a whole orchestra of creaks.
