    Does this racecrown look right?

It's a Lauf fork on an echo frame

all feels tight but that gap concerns me. I don't have calipers, though I suppose I should, but the gap looks similar to the bluto

thanks in advance for any feedback

by "racecrown" do you mean crown race? Maybe you should ask lauf, or post in one of the lauf threads?

It isn't installed correct at all. It should be either on top of his head or on some lace around his neck.

See, that's similar to what I was thinking.

And I think screamingbunny is onto to something as well. Fortunately, it should be an easy fix. I would be thinking about a different mechanic fixing it than the one who originally installed it.
