SWEET!!! This thread opens right away and works!!! Been trying to post in the old one for over 2 hours!

    To answer the previous question...

This is on the new Jubilee trail extension in Sunderbruch Park, Davenport Iowa. More info here-

I asked the moderator to unstick this thread so it will go away, since the problems that people were having with the original thread seem to be a non-issue and the last poster put his picture in both threads.

The 10 year old that went with us is tall enough to ride it with the seat slammed and a short stem. a set of 160 cranks and he would be in fat heaven.

Weather has finally cooled off enough to head to the woods and ride here. Three rides in three days. feels good to get out.

Not only that, he looks for rocks to run into then "jump" over as his bike bounces up.

This is just my observation on the matter, and that's all it is.

I think that the issues we were having with the original thread were directly related to the outage we saw with the entire board a few weeks back, as the problems seemed to occur right around the same time. I have seen this type of thing happen on other boards that have really large picture heavy threads. Page load times differ depending on connection, browser, hardware etc.... It seems to me that the problems with the old thread are long gone and it has worked flawlessly for me over several different connections on several different machines since the problem.

My personal opinion is that this thread should be merged with the original and let's see how things go.

So can we get a ruling on taking this thread and merging it with the larger photo thread?

Seems like a good idea to me.....

Or take the stickie off of both threads and the thread that remains the forums's choice would work itself out, over time.

I caused all this mess, so I'd like to apologize for ruining my favorite mtbr thread - which is the original thread. I just thought it was causing loading problems because of it's size for some people, but upon further review.....that appears to have been a mistake.

Nothing to forgive from my POV.

You were just trying to help

Merger sounds like the most appropriate course.

    Any Mods listening ?

Dude, no need to apologize at all, you were trying to fix the problem... and we got some more quality Fat pics in this thread as well as the original, so no harm done at all in my opinion.

    Merge!!
