Just noticed this thread after I put one up about them.
Ordered one to try out, only $55 each.

My wife wants me to take her Mukluk and paint it in over the top Lisa Frank style.

    Pink tires... yes that'll do..

I'd love to theme it like Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time.

I think my daughter's gonna pull the trigger on a pair of pink ones, to match the pink compressionless brake housing and rim tape on her Necro Pugs.

I dunno. On their website they misspelled "tire", "color" and "$".
And they don't come in blue.

Are you serious? tire is a north american thing tyre UK/Aust. Colour is how most of the english speaking world spells it and the currency is either the British pound, Euro or US dollar depending on which one you have selected.

I ordered the pink ones, my homage to the Giro D'Italia, a fat version of my road bike. Will post pictures when I've received them. Will probably mount them once breakup begins.

Not at all!!! In fact, if you put a white rimstrip liner in there along with white spokes they will contrast nicely… like the ebony and ivory keys on a grand piano.

I'm not sure the any of the colors would go with my Minny 2.0 but at 20% off the black floater, it might be worth it to rock the mismatch. Maybe I'll go Xmas themed with the green tires on my red anodized rims

I wonder how the orange ones would look on my white and orange Minnesota 2.0? It has orange rims already... Tempting, but it could end up really bad.

Man, if I added a set of those pink Floaters to the new orange Fantom FB4 I ordered along with the lime green components I was planning to add, I would probably have the greatest clownbike of all time. It would be a total 80's flashback, utterly ridiculous. I may have to get some. My other bikes are boring, 1 grey/red mtn bike and 1 black/red road bike. This would be a major departure.

Yes and damn you it is partially or mostly your fault. 22 ordered about 3 weeks ago.

Can't decide to go with the Nextie or Light Bike rims.

Is the black floater the same tire as the coloured ones? Black seems to be 10 dollars more than the coloured?

The coloured ones are on sale at the moment, black isn't.

Are the coloured ones wire bead? They seem heavier than the black ones at 1670gm.

I was about to pull the trigger on some green ones but I'm not willing to cop a ~500gm increase in rotational weight.

I did not weigh them but they were folded in the box so I don't think they are wire bead.

Hm. If they're kevlar bead and 120tpi then I can only assume the rubber compound is heavier or there's more of it. I've emailed On One to see what they say.

On-One site lists the weight of the coloured tires as 1670 but they don't tell us what the black tire weighs? Some info on the web suggests a weight of around 1450 for the black ones but On-One tells me there is no difference between them? That's why I'm asking as something doesn't make sense and On-One was of no help answering my questions. Does anyone have any information on shipping times to BC Canada?

Fat Bike.com has listed 1481g, 1510g but I just weighed 1 of my black Floaters at 1385g.

It'll be a few days before I get a pair mounted. They aren't light, but the casings feel very supple.

I'd like to see them make a set of bright blue tires. Bright Red might be cool too.

Just put mine on my not so accurate fish scale, 1675g.

Will try the better scale at the shop later in the week, small price to pay for such a novel product IMO. This is going to be my training bike so they will only make me stronger. Sidewalls look beefy and compound seems good and tacky.

This thread reminds me of the trendy (back then) fluoro tops in the eighties. Abhorrent at first, but strangely starting to attract me for some twisted reason.

I don't know how I feel about these yet...but I'm afraid of change sometimes.

A bit off topic, but I'm surprised more companies don't make gum-wall tires. I absolutely love that look.

Bike isn't finished yet, but I got these bad boys mounted up. Letting them stretch out at 30psi. They are on the big side for a 4" tire, they look about as big as BFL on Rolling Darryls.

The black box around the logos makes my eyes want to throw up, which is ironic. You would think the colors would have that effect on some. Nope, I think these look pretty cool but not paying attention to that detail really diminishes the product to me. Too bad.

Same here. Otherwise I would have already ordered a set. I wonder if that black can come off somehow, without damaging the tire.

I think there were some pics floating around of Vee Rubber tires in the same colours. Maybe they are being released soon? Not sure what style of tire it was, but exact same colours. They might have logos to your liking.

Vee Rubber makes the tires for On-One, it's will be the same rubber pumped into the Mission tire molds.

A surprise Pennsylvania snow storm Sunday night lead to me being able to test out the Floaters in some left over snow. What a difference in traction over the stock tires.
With this color scheme, I tend to stand out in the woods. Very happy with the green/white/orange combo.

Yeah, because you wouldn't want your Mongoose Dolomite with stem on backwards to look tacky

    Not worried about that.
Besides, once I add the BMX bars to the new, longer & adjustable shiny metal backwards stem, with the brakes reversed left/right, a folded clown horn, the dropback seat post with the old-school comfort seat, no one's ever going to get far enough down the photo to notice the tires...
Worst case, anyone reaches the wheels and I've got a big shiny metal UFO style dork/spoke protector behind the 14-34T freewheel to distract them.

For seat choice I've got a comfort seat, an old-school comfort seat or a carbon-fiber shoehorn. For the local bike festival, I'm torn between the old-school and the shoehorn.

It's a work in progress, on a Mongoose Dolomite. I might post a photo when all of the mods (can't bring myself to call them upgrades...) are done, but I don't want to be liable for anyone's therapy.
