Cogburn for nonhunter??? Or Pug Ops???

Heard my LBS had some considerable markdowns on fatties. Was looking for a smaller bike for wife & son to share. Now considering getting a Cogburn or Pug Ops for me & a smaller Pug frame for my much upgraded Cooker specs. Thoughts on Cogburn?

Cogburn is avail in fewer sizes. Small is between 15" and 17" Muk, probably OK for a rider about 5"7", give or take. Cogburn has curved top tube for better standover. Salsa has slacker head tube and specs a longer offset fork so the Cogburn might feel slightly more comfy at slow speeds
