Carver O'Beast with White Brothers Snowpack brake adapter?

Sorry if this has been addressed, I did search...

I just put a Carver fork on my Pugsley, and I'm hating having to use a 160mm rotor after coming from a 203mm rotor on the stock fork. I would like to at least run a 180mm using the Snowpack adapter, but I'd like to be sure it has been tried and that it works well.

I have a stock Pugsley front hub and I'm using BB7s. I'm only 160lbs geared up, so I'm not overly worried about stressing the fork too much.

Using the Snowpack adapter would (hopefully) allow me to ditch the rotor spacer that came with the O'Beast and run the larger rotor. Or am I smoking crack?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you're only 160lbs, why in the world are you messing with a 203mm rotor?

works fine, as do the spacers that come with the fork if you ask for them.

A valid question. I rode for a long time with the stock front 160mm rotor and just was never happy with the performance. Keeping the stock BB7 and switching to a 203 in front made a world of difference. Maybe I'm just used to the 203 I had on my AM bike, or maybe I need better pads or something. I dunno. I'm hoping that the 18o will be a good comprimise.

    Zombinate,
I did use the spacer provided with the fork, and I was able to mount the 203mm rotor, but it was waaaaay too close to the leg of the fork than I'm comfortable with.
