    Caribou Lake Trail

Today was our first ride out to Caribou Lake of the winter season. Although the snow was soft and unconsolidated we were not disappointed. Low gear and very low tire pressure was required to make progress but I firmly believe that the hardest riding is still much more efficient than pushing.

We were gifted; the full moon, alpine glow on the wintry peaks, a northern hawk owl and one endo through a disguised patch of drifted over overflow. Something for everyone on this ride.

If ever in Homer this is a must do ride.

Great pics. Makes me wish I was still living in Michigan instead of Florida! No snow here. Just white sand.
