I ran them for 6 years on my pugsley, so that shows that I like them, but I found that they worked poorly with mittens on. I use pogies instead of mittens when it is cold.
Great I actually got a set of the "Batman" 970 series brakes (so much heavier than the 960's) just for this bike (so I can keep the other one on my superfly) so I guess I'm golden.
Thanks for the input as usual, and yes this system maybe a little heavier but the ergonomics of it are wonderful and I look forward to find more sets in the near future for my other bikes..
I'm working on a rack that uses the pillion peg for most of the load. But it's going to have to wait until I finish the headers/exhaust and fit new rear tanks so I make the rack to fit the new dimensions.

I think is the same with a small allen bolt that can be access from the front of the lever, (I try to take a picture soon) you can bring the lever pretty close to the bars if you desire..
