    Bluto question

I just purchased a 2016 fatboy trail. I like the bike a lot the way it is. Besides the 80mm bluto. My question is how hard is it to switch to 120 mm air shaft. And what all is needed. Thanks

FYI....do not tell the S people you are doing that..the longer fork voids that warranty on the frame .....Had this happen to a rider at my LBS.
The bike is never to heavy, you are just to WEAK!

I'd consider 100 instead of 120, as 100 already puts you higher than stock geo.

Also try searching. If I recall there were a few posts about people who went 120 then came back down.

I'm running a 120 on my fatboy and love it. I think it all depends on what type of riding you do. I've ridden mostly AM bikes in the past which run a slacked head angle so the 120 feels natural.

See that's where I'm at. I'm use to 67.5 on my 2016 fsr stumpy 29 and same head angle on my chromag rootdown. 140 fork on the stumpy and 150 on the rootdown.

I know that it's not a all mountain slayer. Just get it closer to what I'm use to.
