    Bluto/Big Jon Headset

    Hi everyone
As I am new on here I hope I have posted in the right place. I need some help, I have a Scott Big Jon and just got a set of Bluto forks. I am having trouble regards the lower headset and crownrace etc. I am confused by size or would appreciate some ideas for something available in the UK. I understand the OD51mm/ID55mm bit but what about the crownrace size. I have seen these but not sure if they fit Ritchey WCS Headset Lowers Press Fit | Chain Reaction Cycles
    Thanks in advance

FWIW, you bought ONE Bluto FORK.

crown race should come with the lower cup, assuming you're talking about replacing the headset lower cup. because otherwise, it's sorta headset specific, which crown race you need to use. for some, it's not hard to find new crown races. but others (especially OEM stuff) can be difficult.

A lot of differences between UK/Can/US/Aus/NZ English are no big, but this particular use of plural when there is no plural is not one of those.

    The linked headset looks correct.

I know the HT 55-61 is correct but what does the ZS 55-40 mean or refer too.

Rather than try and re-type the explanation, have a look here...

Standardized Headset Identification System | Park Tool

    ..and all will be explained

(Oh, and I'd say "forks" )

It's a fork with 2 tines. Sheesh. The Brits can be sticklers for proper English too, especially in an argument with an American.
I don't know why,... it's just MUSS easier to pedal than the other ones.
