    Black ops pugsley

I know this edition is popular on here so thought I'd share my 4th fatbike!

Yeah I have had a pugsley before....and loved it, but thought I'd try another in the next size down (medium 18") and plus this one is good spec from stock with the wider (82mm) holey Darryl's, MWOD cranks and micro shift thumbies that I love.

Stuck the Nate on from my jones, and also have jones loop bars to add when I find a stem and stuck in maxxis downhill tubes to save 90grams per tube over the surlys!....also new saddle to go on when it arrives.

Here it is before it's maiden voyage.

Looking good Salty. I wouldn't mind reading some comparisons between the Jones and the Black OPs. I've occasionally wished I could stick a fat rear on my Jones.
You're so cute internet tough guy. Noogie...Noogie...Noogie.

I'm riding the 2014 "Green" OPS and absolutly LOVE it. I also just installed the Jones bar. Yesterday was my first ride on about 8 miles of Singletrack with it. I did knotice a slight bit of sorness in my wrist afterwards but I think that's just due to the change in the angle of the wrist. I hope in time I can adjust becasue I absolutly love the many different hand positions that bar gives.

I rode 1400 miles on the jones loops on the space frame and never wished for a normal bar....just done 18miles on the pugs and felt ok, I did miss my normal hand positions though. Should have the loops fitted tomorrow.

Strange being back on a geared bike.....my previous being the moonlander.....felt much slower and average speed was down but there was a few times where my top speed was superb....I'm used to spinning out at 18mph on the jones!

Looking forward to some proper off-road riding and group rides.....the thing I avoided on the single speed.

Man, the difference between the neckropugs and the normal pugs is so subtle this year. I'm going with a normal pugs, but by the time I get the Jones loop bars and a Darryl front rim, it's going to be even closer. Upgraded drivetrain is the big difference it seems... Personally, I prefer the blue anyways.

Can you tell me what the clearance is between your cranks and chainstays? I put a Raceface BB and crankset on mine and there is almost 1 cm clearance. It seems like it could be tighter with a narrower Q factor, you could shave off 2 cm from that

Added my new saddle today, also the jones loops with long esi grips.....along with a 70mm stem.

Happy with the look and feel, so looking forward to exploring on a fatbike again.
