Big Fat Larry on Pug, any pics?

Curious if anyone has put the fat BFL tire on the rear of their Pug or Necro Pug and has photos detailing the conversion, clearances or any spacers/cog removal that might have occurred in the process. Have heard people talk about it but would like to see how it works.

I run a BFL on a Darryl rim in the back for beach riding with no changes and have not had any clearance issues. Once in awhile under VERY HEAVY peddling load there is very minor chain rub when in granny gear.

Big Fat Larry on Pug, any pics?-img_20130419_183711_262_zps6ca93ea1.jpg I know you said rear. But this is an old shot of when I had one on the front, on a Marge. It fit beautifully. I have heard of them fitting the rear, which I may do soon. As the last poster mentions, apparently it fits with a Darryl even. So go for it!

I run BFLs on there all the time, you have about 1/4" to 1/2" on each chain stay, depending on psi. I have mine rock hard right now, so it is closer than usual. Did not have to move anything, spacer anything, change offset, etc. Have all stock gears front & rear, no chain rub, no frame rub.

No issues in Rolling Darryl rims.

Clown Shoes are a different story:

I put BFLs on my Pugsley on some Rolling Darryl rims.

No clearance issues in fork or at the seatstays/chainstays. I have an Alfine 8 IGH so I can't comment on the chain clearance with a derailleur setup.

    Safe riding,

Out of curiousity, if running a Clown Shoe on the rear isn't do able, how wide do the tires end up being (as far as footprint goes) on the smaller pug rims?
