    Best Value: 177mm rear hub.

I'm just about finished building my Bucksaw, my intention is to have 2 sets of wheels, a plus set, with DT-swiss front & Hope rear & WTB Scrapers and a 26" x 65mm Marge Lite set for winter. Seeing as it will likely see limited use in the winter, I'm not sure that I want to sink a lot of cash into the fat wheels- what's the best value for rear hubs? Should I get another Hope or are there better values for less?

It seems that bikehubstore has stopped selling their own fat bike hubs. I have no idea why. I own a pair and so far so good.

I think the rear hubs are just temporarily out of stock
I like 'em long, low, slack and playful

Go with SARMA. I am not sure, but they may be 170mm instead of 177. Check it out if you are interested.

This guy is pretty legit. Just picked up a 12x197 XD hope hub from him at a killer price.

He was having fit issues with the thru axles. They'll be back as soon as it's worked out.

I'm putting off building a marge Lite for the rear. If, as walt has suggested, the Bontrager Hodag 27.5 x 3.8 is comparably sized to the Nate, I may not need a different wheel and can run that on my WTB Scraper, instead. I've got my fingers crossed. If all else fails, I've still got my 9:Zero:7.

Have you considered take-offs? I've got a set of 135QR/177TA Bontrager Jackalopes I'm willing to part with for cheap/possibly split up. Don't know who makes 'em, but they seem like a really nice quality. PM me if you're interested :-)

if you'd split them, perhaps. I have no need for a 135mm front.
