It all began with a rented Beargrease during our Annual Beerd Belly Ride on January 1st.

One ride and I was hooked..

The build begins...

Build continues with a mishmash of new and old parts
Raceface Turbine Cranks in Grey 36x22
XO 9 Speed Gripshifters
X9 rear derailleur
X7 front derailleur
XTR 11x34 cassette
Salsa seat post
WTB Pure V saddle
silver Chris King headset
Silver 90mm Kona Stem
Blue Raceface Atlas bars
BB7 disc calipers
Silver Avid Ultimate levers
sterling silver Jagwire cable housing

All coming together slowly. I'll post again when it's all together.. Looking forward to the Weeeeees on snow and dirt

I really like the wheels! The end product should look cool (and different with the silver parts and blue bars.

Yeah man!!! I was thinking the silver rims and silver bits all around would make it stand out to other Mukluks in the area. I haven't many silver Fatbike rims on the net or in person. Stoked to get it built soon.

Nice! When do you think you'll have 'er ready? I was thinking about trying that old irragtion trail above Georgetown sometime. Hoping someone has packed it down.

Per the lady I gotta sell my road bike 1st b4 I buy any more parts. Hopefully that'll be soon but I got the Jet 9 back up and running last night so G town is a possibility.

The Mukluk of Wampa is nearly finished. Started putting it together last night and as I was I discovered the rear BB7 that's been around since 2001-02 had cracked. Found a set for cheap locally and go pick em up today...till then......
