B Plus conversion wheelset for your fatbike.

Winter's gone yet people want to keep riding their fatbikes -- their funbikes.

Many that do fairly quickly realize that 26 x 4" tires are quite adept, capable, and *slow* on hardpack.

Some of those people punt and go back to their "mountain" bike.

Others, and ever increasing numbers of them, instead choose to install "plus" wheels and tires onto their fatbike. Upsizing the rims and downsizing the tires nets you a ride that remains fun, fast, and supple -- even on hardpack.

I built this wheelset for Arne for exactly this purpose. DT Swiss hubs, RaceFace rims, DT butted spokes and DT Prolock nipples. High quality across the board, and a bomber tubeless interface.

Arne rode them once -- once! -- and then brought them back. Said he loved 'em, loved what they did for his fatbike, and regretted not going with carbon rims right from the get-go. His visit was brief and to the point: "Sell these and build me some carbon ones, OK?"

Thus is this wheelset for sale today. $812 is the normal out-the-door price including tape, valves, and shipping (or tax if you're local).

Selling this set for Arne, now, for $700 all-in.

150 front, 197 rear, Shimano freehub. Happy to swap an XD driver on there if you prefer.

Will these work with the Bluto fork on a Fatboy? I know the hub width is correct but I'm waiting for the Bluto to arrive still.

    Bluto is 15 x 150mm, thus yes.

I'm going to do a little research on BB clearance with 27.5+ and a suspension fork combined. I've been thinking of doing this for summer.

Nothing shameful about linking to classified ads. Totally legal.

Tongue in cheek? Also totally legal.

    Thanks for the bumps.
