Anyone Tried a Fatter Tire on a Mukluk

With all of the snow in the east here, I was thinking of picking up some Vee Snow Shoes. I know they will fit on the front fork of my Mukluk, but I am not sure about the back. I have a SRAM X5 crank and the stock Rolling Darryl rims. I know what Salsa mentions below, but I was wondering if anyone had any input on this.

    Salsa Says:
The fork is designed to accept up to 5 fatbike tires mounted on 100mm-width rims. The rear end of the bike is optimally designed for use with 3.8 fatbike tires mounted on 80mm rims. The rear end will accept 100mm-width rims with 3.8 tires, or 80mm rims with 4.5 tires, but this may require drivetrain modification. The frame will not accept a 5 fatbike tire.

I put BFL's on my Muk 3, they fit fine. Although I don't think they are a true 4.7. I do not recommend them for snow riding.

OK, after your post and a little research online, I purchased a pair of snowshoes. I will let you know how it turns out.

I have Bud/Lou on Clownshoes in Ti Mukluk with the alt-dropouts all the way back.
Had to drop 2 gears, running 1x8 on a 10spd cassette, and dish the wheel a little to the non-drive side.
