    Answer Flame?

Just curious if anybody has been able to get their hands on an Answer Flame fatty "upsid down" suspension fork. How might one go about purchasing one of these stateside? I checked ebay, but to no avail. Any idea how much they cost?

    ...I'd check their website...
If Huffy made an airplane, would you fly in it?

German DE doesn't have any US distributors yet. You have to go direct or through one of their EU dealers.

Looks like they can be had direct from their store starting Jan2013: Over $1099+ EU before shipping.

I thought I had, but then I looked again. 999 euro = about $1270, and that's before shipping. Didn't find the part about tax... is that added in?

Anyway, that combined with the fact that this fork won't fit 4.7 rubber confirms that I'll be waiting a while longer.

The sandman bikes have been using them during the development stages with great success and i do believe sandman is testing their own UD suss fork but not sure when it will be avail. Perhaps contacting caminoloco would be best.

Yah, sounded like sandman is working on a more cost effective fork, we can only hope.

it says "prices incl. german sales tax"
means if you don't live in germany you don't pay it, so they're cheaper than they appear.
calculation should be: 1000 euro fork, minus 20%, convert to USD (or whatever currency) and add shipping.
