We were blasted with snow about a week or so ago. Where are you? I was out on my Pugs and had people lol(ing) at me. Found out firsthand the endo slips and slides in deep snow... and I should probably get some waterproof pants.

Alpo how worn down were your endos? Did u mount it backwards?

Definitely looking forward to the snow (in SE WI). Should get cold enough over the weekend to setup really well, but it could be a wet mess right after it falls.

It's new. I'll give putting it on backwards a shot. Not that big of a deal overall.. I bought the bike for the the fun factor and it was a big dump of fresh snow.

I have been cursing winter for years because I couldn't ride my mountain bike. I got my first fat bike two weeks ago and now I am wishing a major snow storm.... Girlfriend think I am out of mind
I never stopped trying hard and I succeeded... some times.
-
I'ma guess it is going to be a giant wet sloppy mess BUT, I think it's gonna be awesome nonetheless. I am looking forward to finding new ways of falling over in the snow.

I'm in Madison, and I rode the crap out of quarry ridge last winter, discovered that Cam-Rock is gonna be open this year as an experiment (gonna try not to mess it up.)
And there's always the lakes when they're frozen.

My guess is that it'll look a lot like this:

Alpo, run that Endo backward...you won't regret it.

The first snow was great for fat bike riding in the La Crosse area. Rode the Great River Trail and took some crappy pics. Night shots are hard with a phone...
Can't wait for tonight's snowfall...
-
I'm hoping for some snow this weekend so I can ride for the first time in snow. I'm still waiting on the rest of my gear (boots etc) but I'm not going to miss an opportunity!

NE just got upgraded to Blizzard Warning earlier today. Will be my first snow riding if all goes well tomorrow or the next day. Got my bike back from the LBS today with the XO grip shifters so she's all ready to go.

I am in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. We are supposed to get 8 to 12 inches starting tonight going through tomorrow. I am having a hard time being patient waiting for it to arrive. To be honest I am more excited about getting to do some good downhill skiing than I am about snow biking. I think I'll wait for someone to pack trails before I bust out the pugs.

Ugh, I had a week on my pugs before I had to send it back for a bit. Still waiting for it and a storm rolling through Chicago tomorrow. I might not be able to get it until Friday anyways
Good to know about the Endo in the snow... I wasn't convinced it'd be great in sloppy stuff. I guess I'll try flipping it around since I can't afford new rubber for awhile after dropping the big bills to get a pugs in the first place!

I'm really looking forward to trying out the Mukluk in the snow... but forecast here in southern Missouri shows just a dusting at best, and that is a slim chance. I may have to just head north tomorrow until I find some decent snow! With luck, there might be snow on the Katy trail...
-
Getting our first snow and i am heading down to Georgia with my Mukluk for a week.
Bittersweet.

Well I'm glad I finished Blackie today then.

Unfortunately it looks like SE Wi according to weatherbug won't be below freezing until thursday evening, so it could be a sloppy mess.
