    2013 mukluk 3 crank arm

I own a 2013 salsa mukluk 3 and I love the bike I'm stationed in korea and since I got here i have had to spend more money than i expected with unexpected breaks. I was wondering what to do about my loose crank arm on non drive side. Do I buy a new crankset and bb or do I just see if someone has a crank arm that someone upgraded out of or do I just get a whole new set up. Im currently on a budget and don't have tons of money to throw at the bike. What should I do. Im 235 lbs and kinda need a stout bb and crankset what kinda recommendations do you guys have for decent priced ones. Thanks for reading my rambling post and for your time. I removed the bottom bracket for lubing the other day. and I was wondering if im supposed to have a washer on the inside of the crankarm or something.

I am assuming you are running the stock crank set with an ISIS bottom bracket. If this is the case, then you may have a crank bolt that is bottoming out within the bottom bracket spindle but is not fully seating the crank arm to the spindle. you may want to place a washer inside the crank arm (or back side of crank bolt) and then insert the crank bolt and tighten.

Washers are cheaper than a whole new crankset. you could fabricate a washer from thin plastic, aluminum can (may need to fab more than one), etc. Good luck!

Just making sure man didn't mean anything by that. Maybe you have a bottom bracket issue. I would pull it if you have tools lube it and reinstall.

The washer made it tight but now the bolt keeps getting loose
