2012 Necro Pugs, all leftified. Goodness inside:)

    Craig from Mendon strikes again!
Another awesome Lefty with fattie clamps, along with wheel build. Turnaround was literally HOURS after he got my rim! Shock from ebay and sent direct to Mendon, serviced and switched out internals for a lighter weight rider.
First shakedown was today, 15 miles on dirt and mud singletrack. Was good. Was damn good.

The lefty rides really well, the Thudbuster will take some time to get used to. I have never had a full suspension, only hard tails, so the squish is definately different. It is nice that the distance from pedals to seat doesn't change with compression but the distance from handlebars to seat does, and by a decent amount. I was already pretty extended as it was stock, even with seat rails all the way forward. So I think I might need a shorter stem to make the Thudbuster work comfortably. But I think a few more rides are in order before I change anything for sure. I like the cush though, definately works as advertised.

I have mine from Craig, but still have to drill my rim and build the wheel. Will post when complete.

    If you have to ask......lol!
    Breakdown in my case was:
    $549 2006 Lefty Speed DLR(ebay BIN purchase)
    $220 Mendon lefty fat clamps
    $15 lighter weight spring
$30 29er kit to limit Lefty travel for fattie
    $90 Lefty hub
    $45 spokes & nips

That was all physical parts. I reused my stock RD rim. Of course there was service & labor & shipping monies spent as well, but I won't list them as you may/may not need what I needed.

Sweet! It looks fabulous and I'm jealous. We'll ride together soon as I'm doing so much better health wise. Even did some running today. We will totally own Wilderness Park again real soon.
