    2 x 10 durrrrr! if the day.

I was just looking at a sale-priced 2x10 crank- 39/26- wishing it was available in fatbike widths and suddenly realized that's pretty much the gearing for any 110 triple crank ever made, minus the big ring. Additionally, there are about 10 bazillion rings out there in the 110 triple universe in pretty much every size known to man, from 55 all the way down to 24.

tell me what I'm missing. (other than a pricy phil wood BB)

Not missin nuttin. Lots of 110 stuff still available. But, I just swapped out my 32 and 44 rings for a 36 and bash on my 2012 muk 2 and it works great (9spd). might be an option for you as well. I think spacing on cranks is same on 9 or 10 speed and the offset is taken up in the rings
