where to find parts for 20" mtb?

would like to start looking for parts, but not sure where.
looking for a flat handlebar and shorter stem to start.
    i just bought a cx-30 20" i believe it has a sun tour fork?
does anyone know the diameter of the steer tube?
and where i can start looking for some parts?

    thanks
    steve

I've had a lot of luck on eBay. Craigslist has been good for me also. One other thing that helped me find some parts was my LBS, I went in and told them what I was building and they helped me find several things. A shop employee even called a friend of his who had a kid that recently out grew a bike.

pictures of the ferrari look like it has a standard threadless 1-1/8" steer tube, it should be easy to find another stem and assorted parts for it.

EBay's been a great source of lightweight parts for my son's bikes. The name is escaping me right now, but there's a Japanese company that makes stems, seatposts and handlebars that are very reasonably priced.
I also like VP headset for a little color, Sinz cranks and Lizardskins has a lock on grip with a nice, small diameter that my son has used on two bikes. I think they're called Bearclaws or something.
I've also found that my son was not comfortable on the small kid seat that his bike came with. I found a real small Specialized saddle and tried that on his bike. He's very happy with it.
He's currently on a 24" wheeled bike and last year when he started riding it, I had the stem flipped upside down so he was in the correct position when riding. As he got taller and I raised the seat, I flipped the stem. I'm currently gathering parts to get him on a 26er in a few months.

Also looking for some decent safety gear. She has a helmet but need to find full finger gloves, and knee and elbow pads. Found a few online but trying to figure out if she is small med or large in what they offer is difficult. Anyone experience the same problem?

My son has Fox full finger gloves. They make a good kid sized glove.
I'm not sure what brand his helmet is but it's adjustable and fits his head nice. It isn't a Wal Mart or toy store helmet.
Not safety related, but he also has a Camelbak, padded bike shorts and some Under Armour. It all goes a long way toward making his riding more enjoyable.

Go to a motorcycle store. They have all of the kid stuff. Also try JRbicycles.com and Danscomp.com.
