Yesterday my son asked me before bed if we could go biking today, but I had to work, and he was kinda bummed. We have a park behind our house, and so I figured "eh, why not" and mounted the MJ-872 to his Hotrock 12 and a cheapy light from Home Depot on his head.

We're heading out after dinner, should be fun. I will say this: being 3, he did not start saying things like "oh but Magicshines don't put out their advertised lumens, blah blah"

Hard to take pics with the phone at night while moving, but he enjoyed it thoroughly, he said "I feel faster than in the daytime!" lol

I’d love to do this with my boys sometime, however there is sort of a legal grey (gray?) area about the whole “trails open from 7:00AM until 1/2 hour after sunset” thing going on with the trails nearby.

I bought my stepson lights for Christmas. They came today. I tested them and checked fit and then couldn't resist trying them on my 8 year old son's bike.
I'll have to get him a set in the spring. He's gonna be pissed if we go riding without him.
