    Quality 16" tires?

Are there any decent options for 16" tires out there? Just looking for a dirt option for my kid's Commencal Ramones that is light weight and meant for off road use (doesn't need to have huge knobbies).

Curious as to why you don't like the tire that came with the Ramones 16...too heavy? I haven't seen any spec on them.

My 3 year old just learned to pedal his Ramones 16. Tires seem super tacky with decent grip for the dirt, but I was curious about the weight.

I think you are over thinking this, it is a 16 inch kids bike that they are going to ride for three yrs at most, and unless your kid is gifted, they are not going to be riding any 50 mile epics

Niagara Cycles has the largest selection of 16" tires I've found:
    Tires & Tubes - Tires - 16" - Niagara Cycle

They don't list weights, but you can probably find them with some extra sleuthing. The 16" Schwalbe Blackjack also looks like a pretty good tire.

Heavy, and not round. When I spin them there's a significant wobble in the tire.

No he won't be doing 50 mile epics, but riding for an hour or two on trails is pretty epic for a 3.5 year old. Not sure how dropping some spinning weight on the cheap is overthinking it. You've got kids on $2000+ bikes in this forum.
