Help selecting a junior mountain bike

    Good Day All,
There is a 12yr boy in our MBR club who is looking to buy a new bike. He is a very acomplished junior rider/racer who has done very well in his age group. He is 5' with a 26" inseam. He has saved up all his grocery packing money (and with some help from Mom & Dad) is now ready to buy a new bike. Any suggestions on what bike he should get?

    Thanks in advance.

    bike

The more he can try and ride on the trail the better. We bought for our daughters this year, they are 10 and 13, and they found out what looks nice doesnt always ride the best. Ride as many as he can.

You might check used. He is small enough that not many buyers for his size bike so deals can be had on lightly used bikes.
    Riding slowly since 1977.
