elbow pads slip on type for youth 5-8 yrs

looking if there are any youth size slip-on soft type elbow protection for my son who is 7 yrs old. hard to fathom how small these things need to be for kids this age. been lurking around the internet and can't really find anything. I would prefer the slip on type and NOT the Velcro strap type.
The G-Form pads look good for adults but don't see anything for kids. I also am trying to stay away from those sports authority/walmart type sets. Oh yeah and did I mention i'd rather have the soft shell and not the hard plastic? This will be mainly used for the BMX track.
    thanks

Have you checked out Danscomp or JRcycles websites already?

These say they'll fit upper arm diameter of 7-9 inches.

    https://www.danscomp.com/products-SA...ow_Guards.html

These have a combo slip-on w/ velcro adjustment - might help to be able to tighten them down a little with the strap.

I know you said no velcro, but these might not be bad.

XXS small enough for a 7 yr old arm though? it would still amaze me that I would pick something like this up thinking "yes this is small enough and would fit", BUT bring it home and see just how really small his arms are and the smallest of the smallest adult size is still just waay too big.

wow I thought I went through danscomp, thanks maybe that Fuse looks like the ticket although I would like to have him actually try it on. hopefully one of our bike shops carry them

Another good bet is to just keep your eyes open at the track and see who's running something similar to what you want and ask 'em where they got it.

elbow pads slip on type for youth 5-8 yrs

I use some Fox elbow pads, I think they are "peewee" size, for my 5 year old. They are on Velcro but hold in place quite well.

My daughter has been using the Troy Lee Youth elbow pads and knee/shin pads since she was 5 years old. She is now 6. The elbow pads fit perfect, but I sling the velcro strap around her ankles twice to keep the knee/shin guard in place.

I second the xxs g-form. They are an adult quality pad & do fit kids well. I have the elbow & knee pads for my 7 year old & they stay in place & he can wear them for hours with no complaints. The work in crashes as well.

I bought the Race Face Protect knee and shin guards for my 5 year old and would not recommend them; they protect well but the velcro bands irritate him behind the knee and he doesn't want to wear them because of that. I've cut some socks for him to use under, but after 20 minutes he still complains that they're not comfortable.
I've tried the G-force for myself and thought they would be fantastic for kids.
