    brake adaptors

Was wandering if anyone has had a chance to use these. I'm looking to build up a bike for my daughter, but wanted to go with 24" wheels on a small 26" frame.

I tried the same from another brand, they didn't extend far enough for this application. I didn't look at the spec for this one and measure, but you might look closely at the numbers first.

You need ~1", and these are 16mm, or about 5/8"...

Thanks, Asmodeus. I think I might just make the jump to disc for her and use a 24" wheel. Still on the fens though, she's pretty tall.

I'm not sure if these have enough reach for what you want to do, but it might be an option: http://www.paulcomp.com/motobmx.html

Will you be able to pedal that bike with the smaller wheels on it?

I thought about doing some adaptors and then the Paul Moto bmx brakes for my son's bike, but it was cheaper for me to just do disks.
