which 24" wheelset for commencal 24 build?

needing wheelset for my son's custom build 24" commencal vip supreme build. I need to build up a nice bomber wheelset for this bike. He will be mostly riding this bike downhill as he has another bike for xc. I would like some 32 hole rims that I can set up tubless but tubeless is not a dealbreaker. I want to use some hope pro ll hubs as i need 12/142, 15mm and am trying to stay around $500. He weighs 65 lbs and is 10 years old. Probably at least 75lbs with all gear on. I looked at the sun envy wheels but they are 36 hole, does spank make 24"?

I am running Crest on his no issue DH, same weight as your boy.... I run Halo SAS 24" on my dirt jump bike, but they are heavy.

    notubes.com has them for $85/rim.

Haven't seen the 24" anywhere else.

Chainreaction has the deviant 24s, but they're heavier.

Tires: Kenda Nevegal DH tires 24x2.3 tires. They are heavy, weighs each at 1275 grams/2.8 lbs + tubes. We only use the bike for DH/park riding, but if I was going to use it for trail riding I would switch to lighter tires (Rocket Rons) and tubeless.

Cranks: running stock cranks: FSA Gravity MotoX 165mm. Plan to upgrade to 155mm or 160mm Canfields in the future. The 165mm are not impacting him, since we are only riding DH/park. The longer lenght is probably more a pro, since the seat is dropped anyways.

Get yourself some DMR DEEVEE 24" rims (both rim & disc compatible) and the hubs of your choice (cheap Chinese disc hubs worked for me) and have them custom laced.
