    2005 C'dale F800 (re)build for my 11 yr old

So it was time to move my oldest up to a 26er so my youngest can ride the 24er (1995 Cannondale MC400 (Youth-sized Killer-V with 24" Wheels))

I trolled CL looking for a Size SM Cannondale and finally found this 2005 F800. These came stock with a Lefty and disk brakes which is probably more than she needs, but the price wasn't too bad after some negotiation.

I stripped it down and degreased everything (I think the PO lubed it with motor oil but at least it preserved things). I flipped the stem like the late 90's C'dales and put on some flat bars for a better stance at this height, put on some new tires, and changed a couple things including some red ano parts for some bling. I splurged on some XT cranks so I could go down to 165mm... for some reason these came stock with 175s even as a size small.

Pics for now with the ride report to follow when it dries up around here!

Well, she outgrew the Small, so it's going to my youngest, and I tidied up a Medium for her for next year.
