I put my 5 year old on a 20" Giant XTC JR a little too early last year, and part of making it fit meant installing shorter crank arms. Stock were 140mm, which was a huge jump from the 92mm crank arms on his 16" Hotrock. Anyway, long story short, he's grown (as kids do) and I just put a new set of 135mm crank arms on his bike last night. If anybody is starting to build up a 20" bike for their kid or looking to make a 16" fit a little better and looking for some 125mm square taper crank arms, let me know. Fair warning, you may need to buy a new bottom bracket, chain ring, chain ring bolts and a chain guide. But if this was already part of your plan, this might save you a few dollars. I hate to list "for sale" stuff in the forums, but figured this is the best place to help give these cranks a new home. I'm in the SF bay area, but can easily box them up and ship them via UPS from my office. I think I bought these for ~$40, but all reasonable offers (including just a "thanks man!") considered. PM me if interested.
