I have an X9 3x10 crankset on which the smallest ring (granny) is 22T. I have removed the big ring and replaced it with a bash guard. The 22T is too small, I am used to shimano which uses 24T. Is it possible to replace just my 22T ring with a 24T or do I have to replace the whole crankset ? LBS told me I could replace the ring but my bike wouldnt shift well, that the manufacturer designed it to be a 22T. I wouldnt mind switching to shimano but I would have to replace my BB as well, so that is a last resort. Please advise. thanks
