Long uphill so I had to think about something while... Had to laugh as I was riding yesterday. Long uphill so I had to think about something while grunting up the road. For the longest time I was not Shimano's biggest fan. Didn't like how they crammed stuff down our throats, how they seemed to be an industry bully. Standard gripes.

At one point I think I had the bike down to front and rear derailleurs and thumbies.

Now years later, bike is all most all Shimano, except for hubs and BB. And it all works wonderfully. Kinda funny.

Sigh.
